# What Figr does

> Ten jobs Figr takes off your product team's plate, from research to handoff.

![Generic AI output next to Figr's product-aware output for the same settings screen](https://mintcdn.com/figr-1af7ae64/-GMAzIjL9qDaTeup/images/Product-Aware-Designing.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=-GMAzIjL9qDaTeup\&q=85\&s=fd5129e33b9ebd37658f39a1766f4b7f)

Generating a screen was never the hard part. The hard part is fitting new work into a product that already exists: finding the right screens, using your design system, covering every state, and handing off something engineering can actually build.

That’s the work Figr does. It learns your product once, then designs inside it.

## Design new work

> **[Add to an existing journey](/what-figr-does/add-to-existing-journey)**
>
> Figr finds the screens, designs the feature and fills in every state.

> **[Research to flows](/what-figr-does/research-to-flows)**
>
> Interviews and walkthroughs in. Journey maps and user flows out.

> **[Many directions, one decision](/what-figr-does/explore-and-sign-off)**
>
> Compare real options side by side and keep every decision.

## Improve what you have

> **[See what a change touches](/what-figr-does/change-impact)**
>
> Trace one change across every screen before you scope it.

> **[Audit and redesign](/what-figr-does/audit-and-redesign)**
>
> Record a flow. Get an audit on each screen and a redesign.

## Design system

> **[AI-ready design system](/what-figr-does/ai-ready-design-system)**
>
> Line up Figma and code so every AI tool uses the same system.

> **[Design system from screens](/what-figr-does/design-system-from-screens)**
>
> Turn the screens you already ship into one design system.

> **[DS compliant prototypes](/what-figr-does/ds-compliant-prototypes)**
>
> On-system prototypes, with any off-system element flagged and fixed.

## Hand off

> **[Draft to Figma](/what-figr-does/mock-to-figma)**
>
> Send a PM’s first draft to Figma as editable layers, not a rebuild.

> **[Hand off to engineering](/what-figr-does/handoff-to-engineering)**
>
> Engineers pull the real design into their own coding agent.
